About

Christopher Joseph is a mixed media artist creating minimalist work shaped by hope, freedom, beauty, and becoming.

Born in Cardiff, Wales, Christopher’s creative journey has moved through music, photography, painting, digital illustration, and mixed media. After university, he moved to Dublin as a musician, where he unexpectedly discovered a deep love for creating visual art.

A chance moment during a walk among the Irish hillsides revealed an eye for photography, after taking a few photographs with a friend’s camera. Not long after, a solo road trip across southern Iceland became a defining creative moment. With camera in hand, surrounded by vast landscapes, open skies, and quiet volcanic terrain, Christopher began to see art not only as something to capture, but as something to feel, explore, and express.

That journey led to exhibitions and artwork being sold to private collections in Ireland, the UK, and North America.

Over time, Christopher has continued to explore different mediums — from acrylic paint and photography to digital illustration and reclaimed materials. His work often carries a quiet, minimal quality, using space, simplicity, and subtle detail to create pieces that invite reflection.

At the heart of Christopher’s work is a desire to create art that can be lived with — art that brings stillness into a room, hope into a season, and a quiet reminder of beauty beyond the noise of everyday life.

His current collections continue this journey, drawing from themes of freedom, renewal, memory, loss, hope, and the open spaces where beauty often reveals itself.

Christopher’s work is created to be lived with — quiet pieces for homes, rooms, and spaces where people need beauty, stillness, and a reminder that hope still remains.
